INTERVIEW#06
Employee Interview #06
Give an end to the product,
The job of "proofing".
Proofreader
Joined and hired mid-career in 2021
Q01
Could you tell me your current job?
We check that the contents of menu books, pamphlets, flyers, posters, websites, etc. are not incorrectly described as instructed by the client. Necessary tasks vary depending on the project, such as matching with the supplied manuscript, comparing before and after correction, checking for typographical errors and omissions, and checking the facts of the contents.
We strive to examine the content of our clients, producers, and consumers together with their respective perspectives.
Q02
How did you join techno?
I used to review my previous job at a publisher, so I thought I could make use of that experience.
In addition, techno is involved mainly in the food and beverage industry and in their own personal lives—the correlation between clients and consumers is easy to imagine, and I felt that I could do a good job because it gave me sharpness to practice.
Of course, one of the reasons is that you like eating out and can be involved in what you like.
Q03
What's the difference?
I think proofreading is also a job of pushing the back of a sales business that moves on the table.
"This is in line with the client's intentions, there is no mistake, and there is no problem in bringing it to the world."
Therefore, it is rewarding to evaluate techno from clients. And you can get a sense of accomplishment when you see the productions you were involved in in the city, in the store, and on the WEB.
Q04
Please tell me the skills you have acquired in techno.
In my previous job, I was dealing with print-only media, so I think I had the ability to see things with high design.
For example, it's like whether the position and space of the image, the text color and decoration are appropriate or not difficult to read. In addition, there are many foreign language projects in techno, and in English, Korean, and Chinese, you can see them quite often.
Foreign languages can only be matched proofreading, but I feel that the meaning is somehow becoming better understood.……I can't pronounce it.
Please give a word to everyone who is looking for a job.
Techno is a well-ventilated and comfortable workplace.
And even with the same calibration, an all-round ability is cultivated here.
I think it's a good environment for improving your skills.
A day schedule
